One of the many, many SEO indicators Google and the other search engines use is how fast you website loads. Here is a super quick and easy way to get your site loading faster and give you better SEO.
Just log in to your web hosting control panel. It’s usually something like http://yourwebsite.com/cpanel although sometimes it will be a different link. If you are using Hostgator it will be a different link . (By the way if you’re looking for a hosting account you can use the coupon “EWFB25percent” to get a 25% discount off your hosting.)
Once you are logged into your cpanel, just find the button that 
says “optimize website” , click that and then set it to compress all files. Save your changes and you are done!
Your website will be running faster and you will have better SEO - easy.
If this is looks to complicated for you just ask whoever looks after your website if your files are compressed. They will be able to check and take care of it for you if need be.
